About Seattle Fun

Seattle-Fun.com is my own personal website, maintained solely by me. I am not a corporation, and I am not an employee of the city of Seattle, a travel agency, tourism office, or any other travel-related business or organization.

Seattle-Fun accepts advertising and other forms of compensation such as affiliate relationships. Such compensation does not influence the information in this site, and I always give honest opinions. All the content on this site is included at my sole discretion, and the information is accurate to the best of my ability.

In some cases the site receives compensation when visitors make a purchase from an affiliate merchant such as Amazon or CityPASS. Many times companies supply their affiliate partners with special discount promotions and coupons which I can then pass on to you.

If you do not want Seattle-Fun to receive a commission, you may go directly to the affiliate's website instead of using the links. It does not add anything to your cost, the price you pay is the same, either way.

In some cases I receive commission through PPC (Paid Per Click) which means if you click on some ads I receive a small commission for the click-through from the advertiser and not for the purchase of an item. There is no cost to you.

This is how the website supports itself and how I am able to keep it going. The information on Seattle-Fun.com takes a lot of time and effort to research and update. By supporting my sponsors and affiliates, you allow me to continue to deliver free, original content to Seattle-Fun visitors.

Google

Seattle-Fun also earns income from Google Adsense ads. "Ads by Google" are not selected by me. If you see a Google ad about something I've written about, it is a coincidence. Google chooses ads based on several different criteria such as content of the page it appears on, what the user has been searching for recently, and the location of the user. What you see may be different than what I see here in Seattle, even on the same page.

Amazon

Seattle-Fun.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

There are many other links on this site where I earn nothing if you click on them. My goal is to provide information and ideas that will help you enjoy Seattle.

I only accept non-Google sponsorships from providers of high-quality goods or services. I appreciate their recognition and support of this site.

Rest assured that the actual content on sponsored pages are independent of any sponsorship or affiliate relationship. To avoid the appearance of any conflict of interest and in the spirit of full disclosure, I do my best to identify all sponsored content to you.

How You Can Help

It is my goal to provide you with reliable, informative, unbiased content to help make your visit to Seattle enjoyable. If you like Seattle-Fun, one way that you can help keep it going is by recommending it to friends, or by posting a link on any blog or travel site. At the bottom of every page on Seattle-Fun you will see buttons that will help you post to Facebook and Twitter.

I appreciate your support of my sponsors and recommendations. This site takes time and effort to deliver original content, free, to you. Supporting my sponsors helps you, helps them, and helps me.

If you enjoyed this site and benefited from the information provided, feel free to use these links any time in the future for any purchase.
