Dash Point State Park

Dash Point State Park is the closest state park to Seattle with a campground. The park consists of 398 wooded acres and 3,301 feet of saltwater shoreline on Puget Sound. For visitors to Seattle, state park camping is an economical alternative to pricey hotels.

Dash Point State Park

The beach provides unobstructed views of the Sound and excellent opportunities for the kids to explore and examine sea life close up. With low tide comes a large area of sandy beach, rocks and tide-pools. When the tide is out, kids (and adults) love to walk across sand bars and explore whatever living things they can observe in the shallows of Puget Sound.

There is a group camp area that accommodates up to 80 people. The camp features a large open area and 10 smaller group sites within it. Call to find out group fees which vary with size of the group. To reserve a group camp, call (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
