2012 Season

In 2011 the University of Washington Husky football team showed flashes of greatness under 2nd year head coach Steve Sarkisian. After a second straight trip to a postseason bowl game, the Huskies are getting some respect again. Returning quarterback Keith Price put on a very impressive offensive show in the Alamo bowl and other offensive stars like tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins will be returning for the 2012 season.

There is hope that a new defensive coaching staff will plug one of the weak areas of the team and match the power of the offense. With the arrival of the 2012 season, there is a new expectation of winning, and if you're a Husky fan, it's time to think about getting some tickets!

Husky Stadium is annually voted the most scenic in the nation for it's setting on beautiful Lake Washington. And similar to the Seahawk's stadium, CenturyLink Field, the decibel levels at games can be quite impressive when 70,000 screaming, stomping fans get revved up for the home team.

Husky Stadium is in the process of being torn down and in it's place, a brand new stadium will arise. The fabulous view of the lake, and the acousitics that contribute to the decibel level will be preserved. The spectator's view of the game will get even better.

The Huskies will play their 2012 home games at the home of the Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink Field, and will then return to the new Husky Stadium on Sept. 7, 2013, when they will play Boise State in their season opener.
