Seattle Events Calendar

September 2014

The Seattle Events Calendar for September 2014 is full of ideas for that last bit of summer. School may be starting, but there are still lots of fun things to do. Labor Day Weekend is the big summer finale, with Bumbershoot being the big event. The Washington State Fair, (formerly the Puyallup Fair), takes place in September as well.

It's also time for blackberries in the Pacific Northwest. They grow like weeds everywhere, and you can pick them to your heart's content. I always pick enough to make a pie every week and enough extra to fill up my freezer for the winter. And yes, we do have a festival in honor of them - the Bremerton Blackberry Festival!

Got an event we should know about? If you'd like to add it to our Seattle Events Calendar, please tell us about it here!
