If you're looking for Seattle Fourth of July celebrations, there are several in the area complete with fireworks, food, and fun.

The big fireworks display over Lake Union will take place this year due to the generosity of community supporters, individuals and businesses alike. It's huge so arrive early to stake out your spot!

There are smaller, less crowded - but no less fun! - Fourth of July celebrations to the north and south and on the Eastside of Lake Washington. Or you could enjoy a scenic ferry ride on your way to a celebration on Bainbridge Island or Kitsap Peninsula. There are plenty of events to choose from if you find yourself in Seattle on the Fourth of July!


Seattle

Family Fourth at Lake Union

Gas Works Park
Noon-11pm, Fireworks show at dusk, approximately 10pm

This is the big one in town, once rated one of the "Top Five Fireworks Displays" by TIME magazine. The fun kicks off at noon with family activities, beer garden and food vendors located throughout Gas Works Park. The fireworks begin around 10pm over Lake Union.

Kent Fourth of July Splash!

Classic car show, old-fashioned games like gunny sack races, watermelon and pie eating contest, stage entertainment, boat parade, art projects for the kids, and a choreographed performance by the Rainier Symphony at 9pm through the fireworks display.
