Seattle Fourth of July Celebrations

If you're looking for Seattle Fourth of July celebrations, there are several in the area complete with fireworks, food, and fun.

The big display on Lake Union is now hosted by Seafair. It's huge and very popular so arrive early to stake out your spot!

There are smaller, less crowded - but no less fun! - Fourth of July celebrations to the north and south and on the Eastside of Lake Washington. Or you could enjoy a scenic ferry ride on your way to a celebration on Bainbridge Island or Kitsap Peninsula. There are plenty of events to choose from if you find yourself in Seattle on the Fourth of July!


Seafair Summer Fourth at Gas Works Park

Big Tip: arrive early to stake your spot for the fireworks display!

Featuring two locations this year, both events are free to the public. Reserved seating is available for purchase on Seafair's website. The fun kicks off at noon with family activities, entertainment, beer garden and food vendors located throughout both parks. The Seafair Pirates will make an appearance at both events at 5pm and 6pm respectively. The fireworks begin around 10:20pm over Lake Union.
