Space Needle Restaurant

The Space Needle Restaurant, SkyCity, sits 500 feet in the air just below the observation deck. It's a revolving restaurant - during the course of your meal, you get a 360 degree view roughly every 47 minutes right from your table!

If you are looking for a restaurant with a view, SkyCity has the best view in town! Every year since 1992, SkyCity has been voted the "Most Romantic Restaurant in Western Washington" by viewers of the television show Evening Magazine.

Lunar Orbiter Dessert

The Space Needle Restaurant serves up a dessert called the Lunar Orbiter. It is the all-time best-selling menu item. It's also the sole survivor from the original 1962 Seattle World's Fair restaurant menu. It is actually an ice cream sundae made with local gourmet ice creams, syrups, and fresh fruit served up in a unique serving dish. It floats to your table in a cloud of billowing smoke, courtesy of dry ice, and makes a dramatic landing in true lunar orbiter fashion. It's a show-stoppper!

Dining atop the Space Needle at SkyCity can be a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just enjoy a meal at the restaurant with the best view in town!
